Dance in early childhood makes for Beautiful Beginnings!


Smiles, twirls and a love of dance is what you will find in our Beautiful Beginnings program. For boys and girls ages 3 to 6, we offer a wide variety of classes, days and times to suit your schedule. Classes are designed to promote gross motor development, listening skills, musicality and an introduction to the art of dance all in an ecouraging and loving environment. These dancers are also the showstoppers in our show at the end of the year!

Ballet/Tap’s Attire: Girls wear any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black babydoll tap shoes with tap ties. Boys wear black shorts or athletic pants, t-shirt, black ballet shoes and black jazz tap shoes.

Ballet/Jazz’s Attire: Any color leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes and tan slip on jazz shoes. Hair in a bun or ponytail.

Ballet’s Attire: Girls-black leotard, pink tights and pink leather ballet shoes are required. Also, hair must be worn in a bun. Boys-black pants, white t-shirt and black ballet shoes.

Hip Hop’s Attire: Any color leotard and jazz pants may be worn. Students must wear black jazz sneakers and keep their hair in a ponytail.

Jazz’s Attire: Any color leotard and tights may be worn. Also, students must wear jazz pants and caramel spilt sole gore jazz boots. We ask that students keep their hair in a pony tail or bun.

Ballet/Tap: This combination class incorporates the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Students will learn the basics, as well as, basic classroom skills and music/timing all while gaining self-confidence and a love for dance.

Ballet/Jazz: This combination class incorporates the fundamentals of ballet and jazz. Students will learn the basics of both styles as well as basic classroom skills and music/timing all while gaining self-confidence and a love for dance.

Ballet: Ballet education begins with mastering the placement of the body, legs and arms. Beginner students work towards developing technique and coordination. As students advance, classes become increasingly complex in terms of the development of strength, stability and grace.

Hip Hop:This dance form focuses on the current “street style” of dance. The dancer will learn high energy routines demonstrating style and rhythm.

Jazz:Focuses on a combination of musical theater, lyrical and modern. Throughout all levels of jazz, students focus on proper body alignment and conditional as well as isolations, quick combinations and complicated rhythms.
