Breaking Ground Dance Center’s Competitive Company is the area’s leading dance company. Our dancers and teachers have been rewarded the highest honors in both regional, national and international events. This company is designed for the dancer who eats, sleeps and breathes dance.
While the company is a large commitment, it is worth its many rewards. Competitive Company members have the privilege of performing at various competitions, benefits and workshops. Entrance to the company is by audition only.
Requirements to be in Petite Company:
- Must take 2 Ballets, 1 Jazz and 1 Lyrical class per week.
- Must be available every Saturday morning for rehearsals.
- Must be available the last week of August for our mandatory “Boot Camp” from 9am to 3pm.
- Must be available for 5 competition weekends between January and May.
