Fun, Friendship, and a Love for Dance

Our Core Program is for all boys and girls ages 7-18. Whether your child is a beginner or has years of training, we have all styles and levels to choose from. Our Core Program dancers find fun, friendship and a love of dance in our energetic and encouraging environment. Focus is on individual development and growth of self-esteem. Dancers look forward to dancing in our recital at the end of the season as well!

Acro’s Attire: For the boys, comfortable clothing and bare feet. For the girls, any color leotard or form fitting shirt, leggings/shorts and bare feet.

Ballet’s Attire: Girls-black leotard, pink tights and pink leather ballet shoes are required. Also, hair must be worn in a bun. Boys-black pants, white t-shirt and black ballet shoes.

Contemporary/Lyrical’s Attire: Any color leotard or form fitting shirt and shorts/leggings may be worn. Students must wear caramel, split sole, jazz gore boots without laces and keep their hair in a ponytail or bun.

Hip Hop’s Attire: Any color form fitting shirt and shorts/leggings may be worn. Students must wear black dance sneakers and keep their hair in a ponytail.

Jazz’s Attire: Any color leotard or form fitting shirt and shorts/leggings may be worn.Caramel spilt sole gore jazz boots. We ask that students keep their hair in a pony tail or bun.

Musical Theater Jazz’s Attire: Any color leotard or form fitting shirt and shorts/leggings may be worn. Caramel spilt sole jazz shoes. We ask that students keep their hair in a pony tail or bun.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe’s Attire: Pink tights and black leotard are required for the class. Pointe shoes must be approved by the instructor first before ribbons and elastics are sewn on. Hair must be worn in a bun.

Tap’s Attire: Any color leotard or form fitting shirt and shorts/leggings may be worn. Our 3-6 year old students must wear black babydoll tap shoes with tap ties and 7-18 year old students wear black jazz tap shoes with laces. Hair must be in a ponytail.

Acro’s Attire: Students will learn the fundamentals of acrobatics and tumbling.

Ballet’s Attire: Ballet education begins with mastering the placement of the body, legs and arms. Beginner students work towards developing technique and coordination. As students advance, classes become increasingly complex in terms of the development of strength, stability and grace.

Contemporary/Lyrical’s Attire: An expressive yet technically challenging form of dance that combines ballet, jazz and modern dance styles. It involves an in-depth emotional performance by the dancer. Usually inspired by slow music, this expressive dance form is a growing trend in dance today.

Hip Hop’s Attire: This dance form focuses on the current “street style” of dance. The dancer will learn high energy routines demonstrating style and rhythm.

Jazz’s Attire: Focuses on a combination of musical theater, lyrical and modern. Throughout all levels of jazz, students focus on proper body alignment and conditional as well as isolations, quick combinations and complicated rhythms.

Musical Theater Jazz’s Attire: This is a jazz class that is Broadway and theater oriented incorporating the jazz styles used in musical theater productions.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe’s Attire: For students who have completed Pre-Pointe or who have been evaluated by an instructor, the strongest ballet students may advance to the next level of training – Pointe. Students must be individually assessed to be considered for pointe work. All pointe students are required to take at least one ballet class per week in conjunction with pointe.

Tap’s Attire: this dance form involves rhythmic sounds that are created by the feet to teach the student rhythm, timing and balance.
