Honor Society

What is the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA)?

NHSDA, a national dance honor society, is designed for dance education students, dance educators and professional dancers to express their devotion to the art form by sharing, recognizing, and promoting dance education within schools and communities. NHSDA chapters are designed for students in high school who are receiving their dance training in public or private dance schools. By promoting, NHSDA, National Dance Education Organization recognizes outstanding students.

We are thrilled to announce that BGDC is now a National Honor Society for Dance Arts Chapter! Pledges and inductees will earn society points through dance and their community involvement, as well as maintaining high academic standards. Pledges will earn honor cords for their graduations and will be able to have the honor on all college applications. This is not solely for BGDC members. We are thrilled to be a part of the NHSDA Society and More Than Just Great Dancing!
