Backstage

  • We will be having several adults backstage to help with the show and to watch the kids.
  • Please send your child with an activity (book, puzzles or cards) to keep them occupied during the show.
  • If your child has more than one dance and needs help with changing costumes, they will be in a separate changing area where there will be a helper to assist them.

Costumes

  • Each costume will come home with a paper stating what shoes/tights/hair they will need for the dance.
  • Costume take home week will be the week we take our class photos ( May 17th-21st)
  • All account balances must be paid for in order for your costumes to go home.

Dress Rehearsal

  • This rehearsal is Mandatory! Please arrive 15 minutes before your dancer's scheduled time, so we can keep the order running smoothly.
  • Each dance has 15 minutes of time onstage.
  • Dancers are not allowed to watch during the recital, so if there is a particular dance that they want to see they should watch it during the rehearsal.
  • Only one adult is allowed to accompany each child.

The Show

  • Doors will open at 10:30 for the first show, 1:30 for the second and 4:30 for the third.

Backstage Parents
We need parent volunteers to help out backstage with the dancers for both shows. If you are interested in helping out, please call the office to let us know. You will be able to watch your child dance from the wings of the stage and receive one complimentary ticket to the show. Please also indicate which show you would like to help out with. Thanks in advance!

Photos

  • The week of May 17th we will be taking individual and group shots of each dance during your child’s class time. Each class will have 15 minutes with the photographer.
  • Please have your child arrive with proper hair and makeup if you would like.
  • There is NO FEE for your child to participate in the photo.

  • Each dancer will have four tickets reserved for their family for each performance that they are in. This does not mean that you have to purchase all four, it just means that there will be four available to your family.
  • If you would like more than four tickets, you can put an additional two on a first come, first serve waitlist. However, these additional seats will be seated in a separate part of the theater than your reserved seats.
