Make-ups/Cancellations
Any missed class may be made up within one month of the absence. There will be no refund or credit for any missed class unless it is due to injury. If inclement weather should arise, please call the studio to verify if we are open. As with personal absences, if a class is missed or cancelled due to weather the student may attend an alternate class as a “make-up.” Breaking Ground Dance Center may not follow public school closings. Please call if questions arise.

NEW STUDENTS
To determine which level your child will be in, all new students must attend a free placement session before classes begin. New students may reserve a spot in class, but may have to change to a different group after class level has been determined.

*We would like to emphasize that taking one class per week is more for personal development than for technical training. Students expecting to be more proficient in the art should be dancing a minimum of 2-3 hours per week from ages 9-11 and more hours beginning at age 12. We, at Breaking Ground Dance Center, are interested in “making dancers.” Therefore, we discount each student based on how many hours per week they dance.

INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION
PLEASE CALL OFFICE WHEN INCLEMENT WEATHER ARISES, WE MAY NOT ALWAYS FOLLOW THE SCHOOL CLOSINGS.
